• The coronavirus pandemic caused many distilleries around the world to shift their focus from booze to hand sanitizer, but with things starting to get back to normal one distillery moved a little too fast and mixed up the two.
  • This mix up caused the Apollo Bay Distillery in Australia had to issue a product recall on gin bottles that had accidentally been labeled as hand sanitizer.
  • A spokesperson for the distillery said the mistake was simply “human error” and there had been only one case of someone drinking the sanitizer thinking it was gin.
  • Nine bottles of the sanitizer thought to be gin were sold over the weekend. Six bottles have been recovered.
  • Have you ever drank something that you thought was something else?
