Alex

Alex is going to be starting cycle 4/4 in his chemo treatment, which he started in November. He’s had some unexpected set backs with high temperature fevers and a mass that had developed on his spine, which led to an emergency surgery for the removal back in October. Hes gaining his strength back in his legs and back everyday. He’s up and walking around with a walker, and starting to walk on his own with out it! After his next treatment, we have to decide what his next step is. Which is radiation here in Chicago or to do more treatment in Wisconsin. We’ll have a better understanding once we repeat scan after the 4th treatment. His scans consist of a MIBG scan, CT scan, and MRI. But he’s very happy to be a big brother to his new little sister!
