Another Round Of Severe Storms Possible On Election Day

A few severe storms are possible this morning and early afternoon, mainly near and north of I-88 with hail the main threat. Uncertainty remains high in storm development this afternoon. If storms develop, a potential for destructive hail and tornadoes would increase north and west of I-55. However, it’s possible storms either fail to develop, or remain mostly in Iowa.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service is confirming that more tornadoes hit the Chicago area last Friday. EF-0 tornadoes have been confirmed in St. Charles and Batavia. The NWS will continue to survey damage caused by the March 31st storms.
