• Metal fans hoping that Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax would take their one-off “Big Four” shows and turn it into a world tour shouldn’t hold their breath, according to Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo.  He told Australia’s The Music podcast that a big tour with the four bands isn’t something that has been discussed since all the bands are doing their own thing right now.
  • He told the podcast that the few shows that the bands performed together “were an incredible experience” but “everybody kind of moves on and gets wrapped in their own stuff.”
  • However, Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine said last year that there should be one more show from The Big Four and it should be hosted by the birthplace of thrash, San Francisco.
