AVENGED SEVENFOLD ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM , Check out New Song “NOBODY”

Today, rock trailblazers Avenged Sevenfold (comprising M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ) unleash “Nobody,” their first new single since 2018. The triumphant track and its accompanying video offer the first taste of the Huntington Beach, CA band’s forthcoming eighth album, Life Is But a Dream, which drops June 2.

Avenged Sevenfold will support the release with two massive live shows this summer, at Kia Forum on June 9 and Madison Square Garden on June 23.

The newly announced arena concerts mark Avenged Sevenfold’s first New York City appearance since 2007 and their first time playing Los Angeles county since 2008.

“Nobody,” the band’s first official music release since their Black Reign EP in 2018, delivers nearly 6 minutes of ominous keys, stacked harmonies, complex guitar riffs, and propulsive drums. Front man M. Shadows’ vocals anchor “Nobody,” which unfolds as the production layers open a sonic world introducing the forthcoming body of work.

The song’s sprawling sound is reflective of Life Is But A Dream, Avenged Sevenfold’s first full-length album since 2016’s The Stage. Written and recorded over the span of four years, Life Is But a Dream was inspired by Albert Camus’ philosophical opus The Stranger. Accordingly, the lyrics are rooted in existentialism and absurdism. Additionally the cover art and packaging are by renowned artist Wes Lang. Bold and multi-layered, the band’s new album promises to be their most daring.
