Aykroyd and Belulshi Will Return With The Blues Brothers Band At Old Joliet Prison

A big announcement on WJOL Monday by Greg Peerbolte, executive director of the Joliet Area Historical Museum.

Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi will reprise their roles as the Blues Brothers band and play at the Old Joliet Prison. The two performed for the first time at the prison last summer called Blues Brothers Con. The movie “The Blues Brothers” had its opening scene at the former Joliet Correctional Center which closed in 2002. The movie stared Aykroyd and Jim Belushi’s late brother John. Peerbolte says they’re working on a date for the Blues Brothers Con2 concert which could be in the fall.
