Rockers Beastie Boys and Adidas have unveiled a vegan sneaker.
The Adidas “Skateboarding x Beastie Boys Americana” vegan sneaker features a vegan canvas upper, cotton jersey liner, gum sole, the classic Adidas three stripes, and a Beastie Boys logo on the tongue.
The shoe pays tribute to Beastie Boy and long-time vegan Adam Yauch – who died of cancer in 2012.
A portion of the sales will benefit PEACE Sisters and Little Kids Rock – organizations which empower young women.
