A proposed bill that would ban the indoor use of electronic cigarettes is headed to the Illinois Senate for a vote. The measure prohibits vaping indoors and within 15 feet of entrances. Board Chair of the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians Doctor Tabatha Wells says e-cigarettes can be just as dangerous as regular smoking. She adds that vaping fumes contain formaldehyde and other toxins.
