Congressman Adam Kinzinger Deploying To U.S. Southern Border

Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger is about to get a boots-on-the-ground view of the immigration efforts at the country’s southern border.  Kinzinger announced on Twitter yesterday that he is deploying to the border with Mexico along with other members of his Air National Guard Unit.  Kinzinger is a pilot and had been deployed before.  His announcement on Twitter simply said that he’s humbled to serve in Congress, and proud to serve in the National Guard.  There’s no word what he will be doing while on deployment.
