Corey Taylor Says He May Put Out A Solo Record In 2021

- Looks like Corey Taylor has rethought his position on breaking out on his own, telling Eddie Trunk that he’s got plans for 2021. Three years ago, the singer said the idea was “super greedy” but now he feels, “If I don’t do it now, I’m never gonna do it.”
- “I’m actually giving serious thought to doing a solo album and a solo run. Obviously, it’s not gonna happen for a while,” the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman admits.
- Taylor reveals that he’s putting together a band for the project and has already informed his other bandmates, “out of respect”.
- As for what the music may sound like, think “a cross between the Foo Fighters, Social Distortion, and The Replacements,” Taylor claimed some time ago.
