Cracks Prompt Closure Of SkyDeck Ledge At Willis Tower

The SkyDeck Ledge tourist attraction at Willis Tower is back open after it cracked. The Chicago Tribune reports the protective coating on the Ledge experienced minor cracking Monday, prompting its immediate closure. Video showing the cracks has since gone viral. The coating was replaced and attraction has since reopened. The Ledge is a glass viewing box on the 103rd floor that extends a little more than four feet out from the Chicago skyscraper.
