Eastbound I-80 Deck Patching At Chicago Street In Joliet

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that bridge deck patching on eastbound Interstate 80 over Chicago Street, in Joliet, will require two lanes to be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 31, to 8 a.m., Saturday, June 1, weather permitting. At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
