A little bit more than two years after Illinois lawmakers approved a 200-million-dollar bailout for Exelon’s nuclear plants in the Quad Cities and central Illinois, the company says it may need more help.  Crain’s Chicago Business had a story yesterday that Exelon is threatening to close plants in Byron, Dresden and Braidwood.  The company says the plants aren’t profitable.  But, they said in a statement that they’re open to working with Illinois lawmakers to find solutions at the plants.
