Fatal Accident In Channahon Township

The Will County Sheriff’s office is investing the death of a Channahon man, after a one vehicle accident that happened around 8:30 p.m. last night. 70-year old Charles D. Hiller of Channahon was pronounced deceased at the scene just after 11:30 p.m.. The Will County Coroner’s Office has stated that Hiller was driving a vehicle that left the road and struck multiple fixed objects. Our sister station WJOL has learned that another passenger was in the vehicle and is currently in the hospital and considered in serious condition. The accident happened in the 24-thousand block of West Canal Road in Channahon Township.
