Fingerprints Could Soon Be Required To Get FOID Card

A bill is headed to Governor J.B. Pritzker’s desk that would require citizens to submit fingerprints to receive a Firearm Owners Identification card. The bill passed both chambers recently, which would also increase the cost of the FOID card to 20-dollars. Pritzker is expected to sign the bill.
