Former Guitarist Says Ozzy Didn’t Really Snort Ants

- A memorable scene in Netflix’s Motley Crue film “The Dirt” shows Ozzy Osbourne drop to his knees and snort a line of ants through a straw. While the disturbing moment might have bolstered Osbourne’s image as an insane rocker, his former guitarist says it didn’t happen exactly as the movie portrayed it.
- Jake E. Lee says he was at the hotel pool where the 1984 incident was purported to have taken place — and there were no ants around. However, the true story isn’t any less disgusting.
- “I was there, and I never saw ants,” Lee says. “He snorted a little spider. There was not a trail of f***ing ants there. Tommy [Lee] says it, Nikki [Sixx] says it, Ozzy says it. I don’t care what the other guys say – there was no ants.”
