The 1982 Laura Branigan hit “Gloria” found new life in 2019 as the victory song for the Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues.
In fact, the songs was streamed more than 1.37 million times during the first week of June, when the Finals were in full swing. All told, the song was streamed 4.38 million times between March 5th and June 14th.
And it wasn’t just a St. Louis phenomenon – the song was also popular in Kansas City, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.
