Golf Outing To Memorialize Joliet Resident Gone Too Soon

A golf outing will be held this Saturday, September 18th at Wedgewood Golf Course to honor the late Dane Thayer. Dane died in November of 2020 at the age of 34. Over 140 golfers will attend with many more supporting the event. This is a way to memorialize Dane and raise money for a scholarship in his name for students to go to his alma mater Joliet Catholic Academy.
Dane was the son of Rick and Dana Thayer of Thayer Brothers Deli in Joliet.
