Homicide In Romeoville Under Investigation

Just after 2:00am this morning, Romeoville police were called to the 700 block of Honeytree Drive with reports of shots fired. Once there, police found a 20-year old male outside of a home with a gunshot wound. Police say the man was targeted by a an acquaintance. The investigation is on-going, but police say that there is no reason to believe their is a danger to the community.
