Illinois Advances State’s Largest-Ever Broadband Expansion

Illinois is advancing the state’s largest-ever broadband expansion. Governor Pritzker announced yesterday that 47-million-dollars will fund 22 projects in every region of the state. The funding is part of the second round of Connect Illinois. Plans include expanding broadband access to around 13-thousand homes, businesses, farms, and community institutions across Illinois.
