Illinois Announces First Death From Coronavirus

Governor J.B. Pritzker announced the state’s first death from the coronavirus on Tuesday afternoon. The patient was woman from Chicago in her 60s that did have what the Governor described as an underlying condition. She was not a nursing home resident and had been diagnosed with the coronavirus earlier in the month.
