Illinois Awards $60M In Grants For Local Park And Recreation Projects

Illinois is awarding nearly 60-million-dollars in grants for 118 local park projects throughout state. The funding will be used to help communities acquire land and develop recreational opportunities. Recipients include park districts in Peoria, Urbana and Springfield.
