Illinois Counties Facing Economic Impact Of Canceled Fairs

Counties across the state are facing the impact of the cancellation of fairs.  Economic losses from canceled events will be financially devastating for many counties.  In addition to the impact of the cancellation of the county fair, Sangamon County faces a loss of up to six million dollars to the City of Springfield and an over 80 million dollar loss to the region because of the cancellation of the state fair.
