Illinois Governor Optimistic About Full Reopening

There’s nothing stopping Illinois from fully reopening next Friday. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker yesterday said the state is on track to enter Phase 5 of his reopening plan next week. The governor says Illinois’ coronavirus metrics are in-line with what he wanted. That means hospitalizations are down, and vaccinations are up. Illinois’ reopening, however, is not complete. Chicago has yet to say if it will fully reopen next week as well.
