Illinois is among the top 15 in the nation for the worst roads. QuoteWizards ranked each state based on the percentage of non-acceptable roads and square miles of poor bridge deck. Illinois ranked 14th, with 20-percent of roads considered non-acceptable. Bad roads cost Illinoisans 586-dollars per driver each year.
