Illinois Issuing $7.2M In Loans For New Emergency Vehicles in Illinois

Illinois is issuing more than seven-million dollars in no-interest or low-interest loans to emergency responders across the state. The loans are designed to assist departments or cities in buying emergency vehicles they might not otherwise be able to afford. These loans must be paid back in ten years. Emergency responders in Cook, DuPage, Will, and McHenry counties will be receiving loans.
