A pair of legislative initiatives are designed to provide Illinois consumers financial protection in the digital age. The Consumer Financial Protection and Innovation Package is designed to protect Illinois residents from financial fraud and abuse. The measures also establish regulatory oversight of cryptocurrencies and the broader digital asset marketplace.
