Illinois State Fair officials say there have been fewer lost children at this year’s event. Illinois State Police say they’ve had to reunite only five children with their families. Parents are being asked to fill out yellow wristbands with a name and phone number so that children only have to hold out their wrists if they are scared and lost. ISP also recommends parents take a picture of their child as soon as they arrive to help with descriptions if children get separated from family members.
