Investigation Underway After Body Found In Des Plaines River

An investigation is underway after the discovery of a body in the Des Plaines River earlier this afternoon. Our sister station 1340 AM WJOL has been told that multiple jurisdictions are on the scene and authorities currently do not have any information on how the body ended up in the water. The primary agency handling this case will be the Illinois State Police. This is a developing story.
