- Joe Montana has gone from being a player on the football field to a player in the marijuana field.
- The NFL Hall of Famer has come forward as one the top investors in the San Jose-based marijuana company Caliva. The operation is responsible for growing a substantial amount of cannabis for the legal marijuana market. It also manufactures such weed-related products as vape pens, edibles and marijuana beverages.
- A rep for the company says the 62-year-old sports legend decided to invest in the company because he believes legal marijuana will “make a serious impact on opioids use or addiction.”
- Do you think Montana’s financial endorsement of marijuana will increase its popularity? Are you on board with the legalization of weed?
