The good news? Woodstock 50 is still on after finding a new venue at Maryland’s Merriweather-Post Pavilion. The bad news? Headliners have already begun dropping out.
That includes John Fogerty, who played the original Woodstock in 1969 with Creedence Clearwater Revival. Instead, he’ll perform at another Woodstock anniversary show – this one at the same site as the original in Bethel Woods, NY.
We might see more big names dropping out – reportedly, every artist had a clause in their contract allowing them to cancel if the Woodstock 50 venue was changed.
How many Woodstock 50 artists do you expect to back out of the festival? Even with the show appearing to be safe, will Woodstock 50 actually happen?
