Joliet Police Investigating Possible String of Overdoses

Could tainted drugs be present in Will County? Our sister station 1340 WJOL has learned that a string of overdoses in Joliet that have occurred since Friday, September 20th. On Tuesday, four individuals were transported to the hospital after an apparent overdose. All four individuals were in a house in the 400 block of Bridge Street. The four were taken to area hospitals but their current condition is unknown. Joliet Police are currently investigating the incident. WJOL has learned that there may be as many as 12 overdoses that have occurred since Friday in Joliet, Rockdale and Lockport. WJOL has also reached out to Joliet Police for comment and is awaiting a response. This is a developing story, check back later for more information.
