Joliet Resident Named Head Of DCFS

Governor JB Pritzker has named a Joliet resident as the new Director of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Marc D Smith has worked for Aunt Martha’s Health and Wellness in an Executive Vice President of Foster Care Services since 2009. Smith is a licensed clinical social worker and certified trainer who has a Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State and Masters from UIC.
