Kendall County Sheriff’s Office to Begin Utilizing New Firearms Training Facility and Range

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office will begin to utilize a new firearm training facility to include a range beginning tomorrow, October 6, 2020, and Tuesday, October 13, 2020. This new training facility will greatly expand the training capabilities of the Sheriff’s Office and further our mission to be ready to protect the citizens of Kendall County.

The new range facility is located at 10040 Joliet Rd, Lisbon, IL, and residents in the immediate area may hear sounds associated with firearm training, including the sound of gunfire, while the facility is in use. The facility will primarily be used on an intermittent basis between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Should the need arise to utilize the facility after hours or on a weekend, residents in the area would be notified before such use was to occur.
