Kevin Smith Bringing Back Jay & Silent Bob

- Fans of marijuana and excessive profanity can rejoice, as director Kevin Smith is bringing back Jay and Silent Bob.
- Smith tweeted on Tuesday that a reboot in the works for 2019, with the first “pre-pre-production” meeting held on New Year’s Day.
- The iconic duo, comprised of Smith and actor Jason Mewes, made their first appearance in 1994’s Clerksand have appeared in several of Smith’s movies including Mallrats, Dogma, and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.
- One thing’s for sure – Silent Bob will look a lot more slim this time around, as Kevin Smith has lost more than 50 pounds after suffering a heart attack 11 months ago.
