Its probably not the first spot on your list for a vegan snack but KFC has a new one on the menu; a meat-free chicken burger being dubbed “The Imposter.”
The company has taken its Original Recipe chicken burger and replaced the meat with a vegan patty that’s reportedly filled with healthy plant-based proteins. The patty’s still going to be deep-fried in those finger-lickin’ herbs and spices from KFC, so it’s not completely healthy.
The Imposter is being tested in England this summer for around four weeks. Another vegan menu item, yet to be named, will be tested soon by KFC.
