Lawmaker Wants To Bring Back Death Penalty In Illinois

An out-going Illinois lawmaker wants to bring back the death penalty. State Rep. Dave McSweeny has a piece of legislation that would restart executions in the state. There is very little chance it will become law. Illinois abolished the death penalty in 2011.
