Illinois school district are deciding today whether to continue with mask mandates for students and teachers or ditch them following a judges ruling on Friday.
Out of 850 school district in Illinois, more than 145 districts have filed a lawsuit against Governor JB Pritzker’s mask mandate for schools.
The Joliet Diocese is requiring all catholic schools within the diocese to continue to wear masks including Joliet Catholic Academy.
Joliet School District 204 – masks required
Joliet School District 86 – masks required
Masks must still be worn on school and activity buses per the Centers for Disease Control’s order.
