Chicagoans who rely on Uber and Lyft may have a hard time getting a ride on May 8th. Several of the ride-share drivers plan to turn off their apps and stage a one-day nationwide strike. The sticking point is higher wages. About 100 drivers are planning a demonstration at 3:00 p.m. and then hold a protest near Chicago’s City Hall.
