- As California continues dealing with its worst wildfire season on record, Metallica has stepped up to the plate to help the cause.
- The members of the group have donated $250,000 to wildfire relief efforts through their charity, the All Within My Hands Foundation. “Wildfires have become a cruel and unwelcome annual benchmark in California, and this year we have seen them tragically extend across the entire west coast of our country,” a post on Metallica’s website reads. “This year, we will be donating a sum of $250,000 to five organizations on the front line of this environmental crisis that has made its way into the lives and homes of far too many.”
- The donation marks the fourth consecutive year that Metallica has contributed to California’s wildfire relief efforts.
- Do people with a lot of money have a responsibility to give back to the community?
