- Metallica have been staying busy during this forced Covid downtime by knocking out some new music. And there may be a lot.
- Talking with Metal Hammer, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammet said, “There’s a lot of material. I know I have tons, because I totally overcompensated.”Hammet had previously lost over 250 pieces of music after losing his phone, all right before Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
- Bassist Robert Trujillo said that he will be joining in more for the writing process for the next album.
