• Apparently, Metallica’s transformation from angry, cutting-edge headbangers to a family-friendly brand is complete. The group has announced the publication of a children’s book about themselves.
  • Called “The ABCs of Metallica,” the illustration-heavy tome was authored by the members of the band and music writer Howie Abrams. Its official description reads, “Including rhymes and illustrations, ‘The ABCs of Metallica’ looks back at the history of the band from, duh, A to Z! Each letter of the alphabet highlights a moment along the band’s journey from Garage Days to Master of Puppets to fun facts about the guys.”
  • Pre-orders for “The ABCs of Metallica” are currently being accepted on the band’s website, www.Metallica.com.
