Metallica to Perform Live in Post-Super Bowl Special

- Despite a coronavirus-fueled moratorium on live performances, fans will get a rare opportunity to see Metallica perform live this weekend.
- The iconic metal act has signed on to take part in a special episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” called, “A Late Show: Super Bowl Edition.” The show will also feature guest appearances by Robert Downey Jr. and Tiffany Haddish, according to CBS.
- The special is set to air on CBS following Sunday’s Super Bowl at 11:35 p.m. EST, per the network.
