The air traffic control tower at Midway Airport has been temporarily closed after several technicians tested positive for COVID-19. This has resulted in many cancellations as the airport moves to backup procedures. (entered 5:27pm)
Reduced Operations
The earlier ground stop has been lifted, but reduced operations continue, resulting in widespread cancellations on both arrivals and departures (updated 6:08pm)
