  • If you ask the fans, Mötley Crüe should get their due at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The 80s rockers currently lead the museum’s “Voice Your Choice” fan vote.
  • Crüe overtook blink-182 for the top slot over the weekend and has been climbing ever since the release of their Netflix biopic, The Dirt.
  • The in-person, kiosk-driven vote is different than the online Fan Vote, which is cast after the nominations are released.
  • But it sometimes can foresee which artists get nods. Stevie Nicks led “Voice Your Choice” in 2018 and went on to induction this year.
  • Which artists should be part of the 2020 class?
