A new documentary will explore the local music scene that gave birth to some of the biggest bands in the history of metal – bands like Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer.
Members of all three of those bands appear in Murder In The Front Row, which focuses on the 1980’s San Francisco metal scene where they got their start, along with other metal legends like Exodus and Testament.
The documentary expands on a 2012 photo book by the same name and is narrated by comedian (and metal fan) Brian Posehn. It’s set to premiere in April.
