- Queens of the Stone Age is apparently bringing out the big guns for their next studio album, enlisting the help of Dave Grohl and Billy Gibbons.
- The ZZ Top guitarist revealed the news to EonMusic, announcing, “Just one month ago I was making a record with Queens of the Stone Age.”
- Leaking the Foo Fighters frontman’s involvement, Gibbons adds, “Dave Grohl was also taking part and he decided to have a big barbecue,” where the guests shared memories of the late Dimebag Darrell and his brother Vinnie Paul.
- While QOTSA singer Josh Homme has remained mum on the project, Gibbons says, “He’s completed it. I think that he said he wants to put it out Halloween. It’ll be good.”
- Which guitarists would you like to see team up for a project?
