NFL players help pay illegal immigrant’s bond

- A pair of NFL players have bailed out a migrant, detained by ICE, since May.
- 22-year-old Jose Bello came to the US when he was 3. He was arrested by ICE officials for an outstanding DUI after reading a poem, critical of the Trump administration, at a Kern County, California Board of Supervisors meeting, FOX News reports.
- Bello had been held since May. Unable to pay a $50,000 bond.
- Redskins corner Josh Norman and Saints linebacker Demario Davis contributed to pay the bond.
- Does arresting someone on an outstanding DUI jive with ICE officials assertions that they’re going after hard criminals? Was detaining this guy for months a good use of taxpayer money?
