Ozzy’s ‘Doing Much Better’ After Flu Complications
February 8, 2019 5:45AM CST
- Three days after he was admitted to the hospital because of flu complications, Ozzy Osbourne is doing “much better.”
- The news of Osbourne’s recovery was delivered Thursday by the singer’s son, Jack, who wrote on Instagram, “I’m off to see dad. He’s doing much better. Thanks for all your messages.”
- Osbourne’s bout with the flu is the latest in a series of medical issues that have sidelined the 70-year-old vocalist. Last October, he was hospitalized with a staph infection that resulted in him requiring surgery on his hand. In January, he canceled a number of shows because of an upper respiratory infection. And also in January, Osbourne suffered a ruptured blood vessel in his eye.
- Is Ozzy getting too old to continue performing? Would you like to see an Ozzy/Black Sabbath biopic?
