Parking Lot Shooting At Motel In Shorewood

One person died, another wounded following a shooting a Shorewood motel. The Troy Fire Department was called to the scene of a shooting, at 10:45 p.m. on Monday night in the parking lot of the La Quinta Inn & Suites.  Shorewood Police along with Joliet and Will County Sheriff’s Office are investigating. There are is still a crime scene and a heavy police presence remains at the scene. La Quinta is located along Frontage Road, near I-55 and Jefferson.
